4th of July

I love the 4th of July. My family and I were talking about how much we love that it’s a day where our whole community comes out and celebrates it together. We feel so connected to our neighbors and friends and really our whole city. We got to walk in the parade and what a rush to wave to everyone you love and throw candy to all the excited kids all decked out in red, white & blue. There is so much joy. We were at the park that night watching fireworks and a group of boys near us kept cheering every time a small firework went off (cause teenage boys will always be teenage boys) and it made us laugh every time. I was snuggled up with my family feeling nothing but happiness. There’s a lot about life that can be hard. But there is also so much good. And I love finding & celebrating the joy of the human experience ❤️🤍💙
