Oh, the love of getting lost in a good book! The love of discovering characters and worlds and coloring your imagination with interesting stories. I am so hungry for good writing, for words that satisfy my intellect and theories that push me to think critically. I love finding so many ways to learn, to keep feeding and captivating my mind and building on the knowledge I have. I remember going to specific classes in college that would leave my head spinning. I had a favorite quiet place on campus where I could just go sit and think-- let all those new ideas settle and create new patterns and connections in my head. The gift of being able to feed our magnificent minds is a deep and wonderful love that makes life so exciting.
