I was hanging out with some art friends the other day who are also moms trying to raise young families. We were saying how relieving it is to have each other-- people who "get it." There are unique and specific dynamics to each role we play and it is one of the most wonderful things to find "your people." It's a relief to know that you're not alone in the things that are hard. To have people to laugh with and fully appreciate the crazy stories. To have people to give you ideas and feedback in a way that so constructive and helpful. We are lucky indeed whenever we find our tribes and can ride the waves alongside them.
