Tonight is the Daddy-Daughter-Dance at my girls' school. All I've been hearing for days is which dress they want to wear, how we need to paint their nails, how they want their hair curled. Today they woke up with giddy squeals, "the dance is TONIGHT!!!" Oh, the fun of getting ready for a special date! Oh, the fun of butterflies in anticipation! Today is also my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. 40 years! So much time to grow with and learn from and keep on loving your person.
