Always read the fine print

 

And then there was that time when Steph worked on a painting for weeks to have it ready for an exhibition and on the day submissions were due, realized the painting had to be on PAPER (not gesso board like hers was on). Sooo, she thought, what the hey? Let's see if I could whip out a new painting on paper before the day is done? And by some crazy miracle, here we are seven hours later... #stephaniehockart

Lesson learned. Always read the fine print. But also, sometimes it's good to take advantage of a curve ball and see what you can do. That was kind of crazy awesome in an exhilarating kind of way.
