First Date

Back in high school I had these two friends. They didn't know each other very well, but they both confided in me that they had feelings for the other one. And so began what we affectionately nicknamed "the merge" (aka steph's project to get these two perfect people together). It worked! So, a few weeks ago when I got a call from the husband who wanted me to help surprise his wife for their 10th wedding anniversary, I could not have been more thrilled. He had me paint the flowers he gave his wife after their first date, all those years ago. I love these two just like family, and to have played any hand in their beautiful love story is one of the great privileges of my life. Happy Anniversary, B & Em! Here's to many more!
