In subtlety

They beg to paint with me, and all they want to do is paint color wheel after color wheel, circle after circle. But, I get it. Sometimes the most fun part of being a painter is mixing a little blue with a little green and a touch of yellow for warmth, and watching the exquisite beauty of all those subtle tones unfold... "Wow, my yellow's AWESOME!!" 

I love my jobs--both mom and artist.
