Took myself on a much-needed artist date today (because what are you supposed to pour out when your cup is all dry?). Bought some new art supplies, visited an exhibit at a gallery, and then sat downtown sketching with a fresh breeze on my face and good music in my ears. It was so fun to be all alone and guilt-free about being gone for hours and investing in myself. My soul feels better. 

I happened to sit next to a group of serious people taking themselves very seriously while I sketched this. Everything about their business meeting was so IMPORTANT! and EMPHATIC! "Mark, if you told me to buy this, I'd believe you! People are gonna believe their friends!! This is the GREATEST product in the world!!"
