Window Shoppers

snapped this photo one day when I was downtown strolling through a shopping center, people watching. I was pulled in by the primary colors-- that red shirt and yellow bag against the blue wall. It was such a brief second and then it was gone. The subject had no idea she would be immortalized in a painting just for walking past a store at that exact moment. But that's what I love about painting from photographs. I'm able to capture things I would never be able to freeze and paint in real life. Art is so much fun.
