Humbled

I took my daughters on a girl date to my art show tonight (where I won 2nd place! so nice!). I got talking for a long time and they were really patient. At the end I thanked them for coming to my show and Lucy said, "mom! Of course! It's my job as your biggest fan." I had to choke back the lump that came to my throat. How did I get such wonderful kids? And, man, I want our family to always be each other's biggest fans. What a humbling night.
