Marriage

Lately, my husband and I have had crazy deadlines, with both of us trying to work and take care of the kids at the same time. I've learned that marriage is rarely 50-50, nor is it the same person always doing the same jobs. Instead I often think of it as a circle and, like a waxing and waning and moon, we each ebb and flow to fill the spaces the other one needs at the moment. Neither one of us is perfect on our own, but together the two of us always seem to make a whole.
