Studio mate

I've been painting a lot in the morning lately, which means I've been painting a lot with this kid on my lap lately. Sometimes the distractions can be frustrating. But every time he says, "mom, let's kiss," I'm reminded to savor this season that will be gone before I know it. This is what it looks like to live both my dreams at the same time and I'll take the (lots of) good and the (very little) bad that comes with it.
