Girls

[“In Control” 6x6] I keep painting girls lately. Not just any girls, but strong girls, girls doing hard things, girls full of the enormous power and potential I believe they have. One of my daughters in particular has so much fight in her. She has strong opinions and makes them known. She sticks up for herself and pushes to make sure she gets what she believes she deserves. My husband and I often have conversations about how we can continue to nurture this strength she has, but teach her not to always put Mom on the receiving end of her fight 😂🤦🏻‍♀️. Still, I love her for her tenacity. And I want her to keep fighting for herself and for all of us girls and women who need her voice now more than ever. 💪🏻❤️
