On Beach Time

[“On Beach Time” 24x36, sold] Just delivered this commission to a happy collector. She found me years ago, but was waiting until they got their perfect Oregon beach house to commission this piece. She sent me lots of reference photos of these kids that are now grown and play on the beach with kids of their own. I was so tempted to paint in some of the brilliant sunsets she sent me or that lush green Oregon coast. But in the end, I didn’t want any secondary stories to take away from the primary story of these sweet kids, so that’s where all the color and detail stayed. It was so fun to create the magic of their memories and capture something so special for their family. It is such an honor to paint for people. Let me know if I can make something for you! ❤️🏝
