Showing Off Again

One of the things I love so much about living in Utah is how brilliantly this state shows off the different seasons. I was walking out of the grocery store recently, when the mountains stopped me in my tracks. The east wasatch mountains were painted a brilliant pink by the setting sun and I had to stop and pull out my phone to try to capture it. A man walked out as I was doing this and commented to me, “There go the mountains, showing off again!” I burst out laughing and have thought of his comment so much since. I’ll be driving around doing my normal errands and be stunned by bright fall trees in every color. There goes Utah, showing off again! Soooo gorgeous in every direction you look! I hope you love where you live as much as I love my home. And I especially love Utah in October. [Come see this painting and plenty more at a Backyard Pop Up Show I’m participating in this Saturday! Swipe right for all the details. Park on Creek Road and walk up the private lane. This event is free and open to the public. We are selling original paintings, prints, drawings, calendars, cards and more! Participating artists are Kara Aina, Rebecca Klundt, Loralee Nicolay, Annie Preece, Miriam Tribe and me. We’re so excited to see you!]
