Higher Ground

Here’s the full painting of “Higher Ground” 48x72 inches, available at @jgogallery! I had so much fun working on this one and loved the way the different lines and motion circle you around the painting. It reminded me of my grandma’s Christmas villages she’d put in her windowsill, where all the colorful houses were snow capped and cozy among the pines. I wanted to shrink down and play in that village, and painting this filled me with that same charm and wonder. Not only was this my 100th painting of the year, but also the biggest one I’ve ever painted! I’m so happy to share it with you ✨
