It’s like a thousand degrees today. There’s that sticky hot in August and though you wear as few layers as possible, you still get big drops of sweat that roll down your back. What I wouldn’t give for a cool dip in the ocean right now, doesn’t that sound nice? Instead I sit, dripping, watching my girls at soccer practice and wondering if anyone would mind if I dumped their water bottles on my head 😳💦 still. It’s a nice time to be alive, heat and all, and I’m grateful for that bright yellow sun beaming down on us reminding me that even though school started yesterday, it still tastes like summer. #august
