Races

I’ve been having so much fun in my studio lately making new art that in some ways is different than anything I’ve created before. I’ve played with boundaries, color, shape and design. I love painting athletic scenes because I feel like they model so many other challenges we face. And the same qualities that push athletes to their goals—strength, endurance, grit, passion, energy, determination, mental stamina—are the same things that help us all finish whatever race we’re running too. Here’s to everyone who pushes themselves! May we all keep growing better for it!
