Trio

I love eavesdropping on strangers. I love to take a peek into what they’re thinking about, what they care about, always trying to guess at the relationships I’m witnessing. In college, I majored in art but I minored in sociology and I think it’s interesting how these two subjects go hand in hand. I learn from listening to strangers how similar we all are. We all want to be loved and respected and appreciated. We all feel pain when we stub our toes or are treated badly by people we care about.  We all want to find friends who make us laugh and fit us easily. We might look different and live in different places and have different opinions on the best flavor of ice cream (cookie dough!), but we’re all humans. And in our humanity is our unity as a people.
