Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

My husband is a runner which means I’ve spent a fair amount of time at finish lines. And every time I get a lump in my throat as I watch person after person cross to the end. They’re exhausted and exuberant at the same time. I see those who are struggling or in pain but keep finding a fight deep inside to push through and finish the race. I always have tears in my eyes as I cheer on my fellow humans, inspired by their grit and endurance.

I think so many of us (all of us) are running emotional courses regularly that push us to our limits and make us want to give up. I painted this to inspire us to keep going. We may not see where the finish line is, but I KNOW we have strength inside of us to keep going, keep having hope. Don’t give up. You’re stronger than you know and I’m cheering you on.
