50 paintings!

I just delivered a huge commission that I’ve been working on for weeks. 50 of the same painting for an organization I’m so happy to work with, to give as holiday gifts. It was a lot of work. But this is what’s so fun about original art—each piece is still a little bit different, has a little bit of its own personality. Every step of the process is handmade, so it’s always going to be unique and special. My family was so wonderful to let me take over the counter and help switch out paintings while I varnished or cut the length of wires so I could put them on the back or drill holes so i could screw in the D-rings. This was a team effort. We learn so much working together and we are all so grateful for the people that keep our family business running. Thank you.
