Pure Hope

We were swimming and they called us all out for a routine pool check. My sweet little girl went running over to the water slide and stood there dripping, clutching the fence, determined to be the first in line when it opened back up. It was a funny moment to watch, but I've thought of it so much over the years as I've waited for the things I want in life. There is a difference in that determination to believe without a doubt that the good things you want are going to happen for you. It might be uncomfortable to wait and you might have to be really patient, but you refuse to give up. You've done your part. You're ready and willing. And when that gate opens, you'll be first in line to claim the prize. HOPE. I believe magic can come from it.
