Springville Salon

I’m so honored to even have a piece accepted into the Springville Salon (the most competitive art show in Utah—only 250 of 1,000 entries made it this year). But this year, I also won an award for my painting! I feel so humbled and so grateful that the things I paint connect with anybody else. I’m especially grateful to the @springvillemuseum staff who work so hard to celebrate and showcase living artists and bring so much good to the art community in Utah. I didn’t always believe I could make art that was any good, and for a long time the art I made was rejected from this show and others. It’s been a long road and I’m grateful for every step, even the painful ones, because they’ve all made me grow so much. Feeling very humbled tonight 🥰
