Play Day

December is so busy and lately I feel like I’ve just been running straight from one thing to another to another. But this morning I’m up early and it’s quiet. I’m thinking about last Saturday when I was standing with my city as the mayor was counting down to the tree lighting 3…2…1… and then NOTHING! No lights! We tried it again and same thing! But the whole group of us standing there burst out laughing and I loved that better than if it had gone off without a hitch. Sometimes life is perfect in the imperfection and if we can laugh through it all, surrounded by our community, then maybe we’re all winning ❤️❤️ (P.S. the lights eventually all came on and they were glorious ✨)
