I grew up in Salt Lake City and have lived here most all of my life. When I travel and I see the airport code “SLC” on my ticket or luggage tag, I get so happy because for me, SLC = HOME. Every time I fly in or drive back from a road trip and I see my mountains and my downtown I feel myself sigh. Here. Home. It’s familiar and safe and MINE. I know these streets, these hills, these buildings, these people. I love this place and it has shaped so much about the person I am.
