studio hack

Here's a fun studio hack I discovered recently. I often need space for multiple big paintings to be drying at the same time (especially for a show and especially at the end when I'm edging and varnishing a lot at once). I've tried lots of methods, most of which include taking over a different spot in my house like the kitchen counter or living room floor with a tarp. I really wanted a way to keep things in my studio and not inconvenience my family so much. I ended up getting these laundry drying racks at walmart and they did the job perfectly! I could stack multiple paintings vertically on the racks while they were drying, and when they aren't being used, I can pop the racks down flat and store them away! Sharing in case it helps any other artists who are tight on space and find themselves needing a similar solution!
