Art Everywhere

Some sketches from our soccer tournament weekend. I love art on the go. I love how rough and imperfect it is. I love how fun it is to just make marks and not worry about if they’re “right” but instead just trying to capture gestures, feelings, moods, ideas. Sometimes I play a game of figure “quick sketch” and I’ll try to draw anyone as fast as I can before they move. In sports that’s a real challenge! I’ll use someone sitting on a bench and see how much I can get down in 1-2 minutes before they’re inevitably up again. I love hotel light and the way it bounces off white bedding. ART EVERYWHERE. Pack your supplies and play wherever you go! It’s so much fun!
