Leisure

One of the things I love about traveling is it forces me to slow down and change the pace of my normal life and enjoy the leisure a little bit more. I wander for the pleasure of it. I savor my food more. I stop and take photos of everything. I sometimes take a midday nap back at the hotel or on a beach chair. I sit and talk and talk and talk for so much longer than we have time for back at home. Of course we can’t live this way always. But that’s probably what makes it so much sweeter to dip into on vacation and remember fondly once we’re home again. [“Leisure” 6x6, available at @saltandhoneymarket]
