Neighborhood Tables

As newlyweds, we discovered the greatest cafe next to our apartment & started getting breakfast alongside the regulars. We fell in love with the thick bacon and fence made of old bicycles. We learned our community at those tables, made friends, found our places in the new home we were making. In each neighborhood we’ve moved, we’ve found new tables where the same magic happens. New favorite cafes to meet friends, setting up our own tables with potlucks to feed neighbors, even picnic tables at parks become therapy for tired parents while we watch our kids play. These neighborhood tables build communities & become spaces where we build our relationships, build each other and build ourselves, so that maybe life is a little more joyful for all of us when we stand up again.

I’m so excited that this painting will be in the @springvillemuseum at the opening of the Salon TONIGHT!! You’re welcome to come join us at 7:00 pm for the opening or see the show which will be up until July ❤️
