Traditions

[“That They May Be Light” available at @jgogallery] I love traditions. One of my favorites is the semiannual conference my church has every April and October. We spend the entire weekend getting spiritually nourished by our leaders and our prophet and by the end of it, I feel so filled up with joy I want to go live my greatest life. I keep a journal next to me and by the end it’s got pages of notes about things I want to work on and be better at. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and discouraged in life trying to keep up with everything. But as my kids leave for school in the morning every day, we’ve been repeating the same line, “me + Jesus Christ = perfect.” On our own we sometimes don’t get it right (my kids won’t grow up saying “mom never raised her voice at us” 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️). But if we partner with Jesus Christ, it’s always enough. He can make up the difference wherever we fall short. I’ve seen that so many times in my life I know it’s true. So if you need that message tonight, then this post was just for you. You + Jesus Christ = perfect. ❤️
