1941 Tourists 36x36.jpg

[“Tourists” 36x36, available at 15th Street Gallery] This Friday is the summer group show at 15th Street Gallery from 6-9:00 pm! I dropped off a bunch of brand new work, including this painting. My favorite way to see cities I travel to is by bike. It’s so much faster than walking, but so much more intimate that a car or bus or train. I love exploring and stopping next to whatever interests me and appreciating all the nooks and crannies that make a place fascinating. It was biking through Key West (where I took this picture) that I discovered my dream bike and came home and bought it. Now when I bike through my neighborhood, I feel that same sense of wonder as I discover new things (like who knew the house I’ve passed hundreds of times actually has intricate wood carvings in their tree?). There is so much of the world, near or far, to appreciate and enjoy. Come on over (by bike!) to 15th Street tomorrow night to enjoy some fun summer art!
