Snowman Sisters

2003 Snowman Sisters 8x8.jpg

I remember as a kid, waking up on cold winter mornings and fighting with my siblings over who got to sit on the heating vents. There was the smell of the heat kicking on and my mom making oatmeal that warmed me inside and out. Still when I smell either of those things, I'm reminded of that feeling of being cozy and safe, warm in my home. When my kids fight over the vents on a cold morning or come in from school and stomp off the snow, I want so much for them to feel that same warmth in our home-- you are cozy and safe here. This place, this family will always be a sanctuary for you.

These sweet sisters are heading to the Utah Art Market this Friday and Saturday. Come find some of my newest work!
