Bliss

When I was planning my wedding I had this calendar where I kept track of all the appointments and deadlines and orders and details that went into planning such a big event. In the weeks after the wedding date, Oct. 4th, I wrote in big letters "MARRIED BLISS" because I was so sure all our stress would be over once we made it past the wedding and life would just be perfect 😂😂. Well, of course, that wasn't entirely what happened. Stress has come our way lots of times and we've grown with the seasons. But as I think back over the 13 years I've been married to Adam, more often than not it's been bliss. He has proved better than any idealized "man of my dreams" I thought I wanted when I was single. He has been loyal and loving and the biggest champion I have in whatever I'm pursuing. He bought me this bouquet of flowers to celebrate our anniversary this month and every time I looked at it, I was filled up with... bliss.
