Happily Ever After
What a time for big life moments to happen! I was talking to friends last night and we were all exchanging stories of big things we (or our loved ones) have missed because of this pandemic. It’s real and painful for everyone to grieve the loss of an expectation that wasn’t realized. We all have stories. But, my heart is so lifted as I hear about so many ways people are celebrating anyway. There are so many creative ways people have marked weddings, anniversaries, graduations, athletic goals, artistic goals, family bonding, and the list goes on and on. I was thrilled to help one beautiful couple celebrate their non-traditional wedding with this fun painting. They happened to have access to a great vintage car that they were able to drive up the street and wave to all their friends and family with cans tied to the back and confetti in the air. It probably wasn’t what they originally planned. But it certainly was beautiful in it’s own way. Thank you @jillerscrazylife for inviting me to paint this and congrats to cute Sadie and her new husband! [“Happily Ever After”]
