Remember when?
My husband and I were brushing our teeth last night and he said, “Hey, remember when you used to paint for a job?” 😂😂🤦🏼♀️ I burst out laughing. He’s totally right. The last couple weeks have been filled to the brim with the business side of my business—making prints, fulfilling orders, market prep/setup/take down, updating website and inventory, redoing ALL my finances from 2021 to a different system before the tax deadline… it was a lot. It’s always a lot to balance all those needs on just my shoulders and keep it all afloat. But I’m so grateful to have this business, so grateful for how much it’s grown, so grateful to have orders to fill and sales to input for taxes. The upside of supporting small businesses is that you’re supporting a person behind it all and that person is so endlessly grateful.
So thank you. Thank you to everyone who came to the art market. Thank you to everyone who put in orders online and waited patiently until I could fulfill them. Thank you to my commission list who are still in different steps of the process. Thank you to every like and comment and share that helps small businesses like mine to reach more people.
Here’s to each of us giving our best and having grace that it’s enough. And here’s to picking up a paintbrush again and actually doing the thing that started it all, painting. 🎨🖌🖌
