Beautiful

It’s a warm Monday in July. My house is filled with golden light from the slanted sun. My husband is bringing in the pulled pork that’s been smoking since five this morning. My boys are cheering every play of the home run derby. My girls are playing their third monopoly game of the day. And I’m drawing the ducks from my morning walk by the river.
